Sealed, written and electronic formal bid proposals will be received by THE TOWN OF FRIARS POINT, MISSISSIPPI, at 700 2ND STREET, FRIARS POINT, MISSISSIPPI 38631 at 11:00 a.m. (Local Prevailing Time) on APRIL 15, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the FRIARS POINT COMMUNITY CENTER project.

Friars Point, Mississippi reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for thirty calendar days from the date bids are opened.

Bid documents are being made available via electronic copy. Official bid Documents can be downloaded after registering for an account at www.m3aarchplans.com to view bid documents. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.m3aarchplans.com, at the above stated date and time. at 700 2ND STREET, FRIARS POINT, MISSISSIPPI 38631.

All Contractors who intend to submit “BIDS” are encouraged to attend the MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE on MARCH 25, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., (held at project site). Failure to attend the Pre-Bid Conference will not result in rejection of submitted proposals.

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi.

Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
